A Bit About Me
I was introduced to the world of skiing at a young age and took up climbing when I was just ten years old. Throughout my teenage years, I devoted my time to sport climbing and I had the privilege of representing the Swedish junior national team. During this period, I managed to win twelve medals in Nordic, Swedish, and British Youth Championships, and climb sport routes up to a grade of 8b.
However, my passion for the mountains has always been my strongest source of inspiration. So for the last fifteen years I have been spending an always increasing amount of time in the mountains. Through my love to explore new and lesser known areas for climbing and skiing, I have gotten to know large parts of the Alps.
This includes having climbed 75 of the 82 4,000-metre summits in the Alps, including all 48 located in Switzerland. The remaining summits are difficult to find in safe conditions, and I am content to wait until those conditions align rather than rush to climb them. Of course, my experiences extend far beyond the famous 4,000-metre summits. Many of the 2,000 and 3,000 metres peaks offer climbing that rivals, or even surpasses, the quality of their higher and more celebrated neighbours.
I have always felt that the greatest joy in climbing and skiing comes from sharing the experience with others. Therefore, I value the opportunity to introduce newcomers to the mountains and help them develop into safe mountain athletes.
My dedication to this passion reached a major milestone in autumn 2021 when I was accepted into the Swedish Mountain Guide Training program. In early summer 2023, I became an Aspirant Guide, allowing me to begin guiding. In March 2025, I successfully passed the final exam, earning full IFMGA Mountain Guide status – becoming one of the youngest Swedes to achieve this certification. Beyond my mountain pursuits, I work as an assistant manager in the actuarial team at Deloitte Switzerland. My academic journey includes earning a M.S.c degree in Economics from the Stockholm School of Economics in Sweden and a M.A. in Quantitative Economics and Finance from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland.
